Installation — Four Steps, No Tools, Under 30 Minutes

Step 1 — Charge first
Before installing, charge all four strips via USB for approximately 1 hour. The battery is partially depleted during transport and storage — using the strips without charging first may result in shorter-than-expected battery life on first use.

Step 2 — Remove protective film
Each acrylic strip has a protective film on the surface. Remove it before installation — if you see any apparent scratches on the acrylic surface, this is the protective film, not damage. Remove the film and the surface will be clear.

Step 3 — Place strips in door sill channels
Slide each strip into the corresponding door sill channel — front strips in the front door sills, rear strips in the rear door sills. The pull-out mechanism design means no adhesive or fasteners are required for the main strip body.

Step 4 — Attach infrared sensor
Fix the infrared sensor paper to the underside of the door frame using the included adhesive backing. The sensor should face the door opening direction for maximum detection sensitivity. Test by opening and closing the door to confirm activation.
