Step 2 — Connect main controller
Connect the main controller's power cable to a 12V source — your cigarette lighter socket is the standard connection. Negative to ground, positive to 12V accessory power.

Step 3 — Connect sub controllers
Each of the four sub controllers requires its own 12V power connection — typically from a door power supply positive and negative source. Each sub controller has four output ports for connecting LED strips.

Step 4 — Position and route strips
